Meet Ashley and Elmer…
Meet Ashley and Elmer, my two pet sticks on a stump.
As some may know, I’ve created as a hobby, numerous fishing lures and decoys from salvaged wood that I’ve found while walking through the woods.
Ashley and Elmer are created from two trees on my property, an ash tree that died from disease and an elm tree that came down during a storm.
Even thou it may seem quite small, pet sticks let the legacy of those trees live on.
I welcome and encourage others to make their own pet sticks on a stump from fallen branches or trees…
Those who had to walk alone…
